Illawarra Woodworkers Group Incorporated at Thirroul Seaside Arts Festival
Mal Stewart stands proudly in front of some woodwork created by members of the Illawarra Woodworkers Group Incorporated. The club has a wide representation of wood crafts among its members, including turning, carving, furniture, toys and model making. Members of the club come from diverse backgrounds and ages range from 25 to retirees. The club runs weekend workshops, a monthly Toy drive and participants in a number of craft fairs. Meetings are held at the clubhouse, in the grounds of the Fairy Meadows Primary School, on the second Wednesday of each month (7.15pm start) excluding December. Visitors are welcome to attend 3 meetings before they commit to joining the club. For further details contact Peter hansen on 02 42848255
